Remodeling Victorian House Dormer Addition Design

This Victorian house with California Hippie style interventions, remodel to provide more natural light and enhancing the flow of the space to suit modern way of living. A double story space forms the heart of the residence and connects the two levels housing the public living space on the entry floor and more private sleeping quarters on the upper level. Dormers were added to the roof to accommodate more functional space and offer stunning views of its landscape. A solid, butcher-block stairway and bridge was built using salvaged floorboards from the existing attic floor. Designed by Casper Mork-Ulnes Architects.
