Designers Sasaki Yusuke and Sekiguchi Satomi had creative brilliant idea to renovated this originally a normal one-room apartment interior to become cozy space with extremely small budget (low-cost) and well-suited with resident personality (adventurer). A new apartment interior consists of two parts, divided by wooden walls. One half is “doma”, a Japanese traditional style dirt floor-room that become outdoor/exterior spaces of the apartment. Other half is the clean room, wooden box-like spaces structure. The other small spaces are storage shelves to keep and for better organize of resident’s goods and equipment, so the interior do not look messy.
The “doma” part use as garden space. So to give feeling of outdoor garden atmosphere, existing materials that used to cover the ceiling and floors peeled, peeled, leaving the original structure of the apartment. As an adventurous nature, the resident can enjoy daily life along with changing season from the “doma”; spring, summer, autumn and winter.
The wooden box-like built for living-bedroom and kitchen. The living-bedroom that has open plan has warmth atmosphere that become relaxing space. The wooden box-like living and bedroom have modest interior design, exposing the wooden raw materials, and originally walls painted in white. Certain part, like the white storage has simple minimalist natural theme décor. Overall, this creative apartment interior design and apartment floor plans, has nature ambiance.Designed by Ground-Line/ Sasaki Yusuke and Sekiguchi Satomi
