This house designed as contemporary look concept. But because it build in surrounding historical area, an old architectural elements are abstractly translated in this design. This house functioned as residence and shop below it. The zinc roof is applied as a second façade in a rounded form. The roof trim is a steel U-channel which runs in a continuous line from the front to the rear façade. The timber cladding derives its size and orientation from the surrounding face brick facades. It will be interesting building, because two architectural concept unify with this house. The residence architects of this house is Burger Grunstra Architects Firm.
